I work with creative visionaries. BIG PICTURE THINKERS. What-ifers and wanderers. The magnetic, eclectic, forces who carefully create somethings out of nothings. The closet creatives who question their own force. The dreamers and the doers who rebelliously redefine success and happiness by leaning into the unknown…even if it’s frightening.

If you haven’t noticed, I talk a lot about alignment…
And making an aligned decision about who you choose to work with is a big one. This is an investment in yourself that, when coach and client are aligned with similar missions, can yield priceless results. This information aims to help you understand my mission and values as a coach while gaining a better understanding of the clients I serve so that you can make an empowered, informed decision about our compatibility.
My clients are BOLD.
I have the privilege of walking alongside a myriad of high-achieving, wildly intelligent, ambitious professionals who struggle to trust their own inherent gifts. Despite having achieved massive success on paper, many of my clients find themselves at a crossroads when they want to pursue their grand visions. They tend to have incredibly high expectations, so when the ideas surge, but the output doesn’t immediately match the potential, they struggle with low self-worth, self-trust, and lots of shame. Historically, this has led them to settle for “happy enough,” only to yield feelings of resentment, disappointment, and grief for, yet again, suppressing the intuitive calling that told them they were capable of having it all. They tend to believe their unconventional way of thinking is their greatest weakness, so we work together to prove it’s their greatest strength.

“I’m writing this tearfully overwhelmed by the person I am today. When I found Kristyn, I was more than ready to leave my 15-year career, but I was terrified to work for myself. I knew I needed to make a change, but I had no idea where to start. Kristyn surprised me in her ability to balance emotion and logic. She really forced me to think about my own values, which got muddied after years of motherhood, career, marriage…putting everyone’s needs before my own. She let me cry through some of my toughest struggles, but always left me with tactical steps to move forward. Today, not only have I left that corporate position, but I’m happier than I’ve been in decades and I’ve got a newfound passion for what’s to come. If you have the chance to work with Kristyn, run, don’t walk.” -Sharon L.
My clients tend to be More Than One Thing:
They are interior designers who are also realtors and mobile bar owners. They are teachers who are also published authors and bloggers. They are stay-at-home moms who are online business owners and social media managers. They are event planners who are also graphic designers and florists. They are nurses who are also outdoor mental health advocates and wellness coaches. They are professional makeup artists who are also inventors and influencers. They are brand strategists who are also photographers and course creators. With my portfolio approach to career design, together, we create the kaleidoscopic vision you’ve been dreaming of.
Don’t take it from me. Here’s what clients are saying:
“You NEED to work with Kristyn. She is an incredible coach. I am a nurse who was burnout and very unfulfilled in my career. I have dreamed of starting my own business and being able to be my own boss. Kristyn helped me to leave my current, unfulfilling job and find a new one that better aligned with my personal goals. We worked together to create a plan of how I can make my business a reality. She challenged me to change my thinking and really push past areas of fear in a manner that I felt comfortable: I’ve incorporated better routines; I’m purposefully mindful about what I want; and I have the skills and tools to continue to be successful in the future. Kristyn is an amazing person and coach who will help you achieve your goals and find confidence in your decisions to create personal change. This program was truly incredible. -Ashley S.
“Kristyn has really helped me look at my life from an outside perspective. I thought I was an expert on myself, but it turns out I needed some help figuring out who I really want to be in this world. I am no longer looking at end goals. I have found that the process in my endeavors is just as beautiful as any certificate, award, degree, or monetary number. As a high achiever, it was hard to slow down and not take life at 100 mph, but it was so so worth it. I am now becoming the writer I never knew I could be, and I’m making career moves I never knew were out there: I’m more patient; I’ve started my blog; I’m publishing a memoir and a children’s book; I changed jobs…I have stopped feeling so much anxiety from constantly looking at an end goal.” -Kelcie M.
“You were made for this work! You hold space for what is possible without judgment. You have an open heart that allows for emotion to pour without reserve. What do I mean by holding space…I envision it as a container that can change in size, shape, and composition to accommodate whatever comes of the session. You are not therapeutic. You are compassionate and empathetic, which allows the person you’re working with to fill the space as she needs, wants, and would most benefit from. You are flexible in how that container sits or the shape it takes with the session. Your flexibility to allow for what comes means the person you’re working with can take the path where it leads without a preconceived notion of what should be accomplished or needs to be worked on. Fluid time allows for great creativity and the space for brutal, beautiful honesty allows for something greater than the intended…it allows for all that is possible to be real. -Sundee W.
“Before I approached Kristyn, I felt a deep sense of dissatisfaction with my life and I didn’t quite know where it was coming from. I had reached peaks of my career that were “supposed to make me happy,” yet I felt like I was a bystander in my own life. I worked in tech and made good money doing it, but secretly craved a life as a creative. Having grown up in a single-parent immigrant household, I’d cast out my creative dreams long ago because I believed corporate success was the only option. Kristyn creates a radically empathetic and receptive environment that encourages profound self-reflection. She truly listens and isn’t afraid to gently nudge you toward building the skills you need to level up. She was fantastic at synthesizing all of my scattered thoughts and articulating things back to me that I couldn’t have done myself. I came into this experience never having had a coach before and assuming it’d be like having a babysitter to hold me accountable to specific goals. And while she does this excellently, her real superpower is inciting a deeper transformation of wanting to change. Every session I had an “aha moment” and felt a stronger conviction to take control of my life. I can confidently say that I have a new outlook on my creative career and am forever grateful for the sessions we had together! -Judy L.
Still wondering if we’d be a fit?
THIS PROGRAM IS FOR YOU IF:
- You’re a freelancer, small business owner, entrepreneur, or just someone daydreaming about working for yourself or starting your own business someday
- You’re a creative multi-passionate with insatiable curiosity. You want to learn it all, do it all, and be it all, but struggle to marry your somewhat disjointed skills + interests. You’re open to a portfolio career approach that lets you do all the things you’re interested in, skilled at, and challenged by, daily. (Example: I’m a coach-farmer-college instructor)
- You may consider yourself a “closet creative:” someone who perceives your conventional job in academia, law, tech, finance, engineering, healthcare, etc. as “more respectable and financially secure.” You secretly want a career in the arts, but fear losing your perceived status if you transition to something “fluffy.” (This is direct language from past clients).
- You KNOW you’re meant for more, but your potential (and fulfillment) ((and finances)) feel capped in your current career. *You struggle with the creative gap of where you are and what you know is possible.
- You’re pursuing a side hustle that you want to take full-time
- You’ve achieved conventional success, but seek to redefine what success and happiness look like for you as you pursue the dream that keeps haunting you
- You seek time, financial, and creative autonomy without a cap on your earning potential, impact, or fulfillment
- As my mentor, Elizabeth Gilbert expresses: “You want to live an enchanted existence, not a mundane one.”
THIS PROGRAM MAY NOT BE A FIT FOR YOU IF:
- You’re strictly seeking strategy without diving into the depths of self-inquiry, shadow work, and identity transformation
- You want a one-size-fits-all rubric approach with advice that tells you what to do. Instead, I ask thought-provoking questions that help you gain more clarity and confidently come to your own conclusions. *My process requires you to shut out the noise of the outside world and get brutally honest about who you are and what you want.
- You’re looking to quickly land another job to escape your current dissatisfaction. This program is not a band-aid solution. It’s a catalyst for long-term, aligned success and fulfillment.
- You’re unwilling to get radically honest with yourself and challenge your current habits, beliefs, and ways of thinking/operating.
